Recently, my smallish adult male RF has been mating with three of my females and while I've had eggs before, they were either all duds or I failed to hatch them. I had used a Hoverbator incubator.
This time around, I've converted an unused closed chamber.
This is an aquarium with a plexiglass cover and UVB strip light enclosed. I have placed a 15 watt rope heater to the bottom of the glass with tape and it warms the Vermaculite inside. I also have an air pump/bubbler for added humidity and the whole thing sits on 1/4" plastic feet to keep the underside from heating up. (Even though the heat rope doesn't get hot. Just warm)
It's been running without eggs for a week now and the readings are temps 77-84 and humidity 83-99%.
I'm open to suggestion......
(The light I'll use if and when I have eggs and if any hatch)
