Clear shell?

Hello everyone I was curious about the condition of my Greek tortoises shell. I am a new tortoise owner and noticed that the edges of his shell seem to be clear. I’m not sure if this a good or bad sign or maybe his shell is growing? If someone could help me out I’d appreciate it
