I know her current enclosure isn't what she needs but I maintain humidity at 50 to 65% and the temperature at 80 to 87.... I have a tote which I don't think is big enough it's about 26 Long by 15 wide by about 12 High I could set this one up temporarily till I can get the bigger one they have one at Walmart that's 22 in high in about 3 to 4 ft long and wider than 15 here's a couple pics of the tote and her current one

A closed chamber does not need air holes. Enough air exchange happens when you open it to feed, water etc. If you still feel the need for holes don't put them at the top. Heat and humidity rises and will escape and it will be a bit harder to keep them temp and humidity where it needs to be.
I would cut back on the baby food soaks as long as he is eating and do the pedialyte soaks every other day. Be sure he never goes below 80 degree temps. Even 85 would be better. I dont think there is an incandescent bulb with proper if any uvb in it. With a lot of the best care and fingers crossed, hopefully this one will pull thru and live a long life. However like Mark said, we have seen them last past a year and then die for no real obvious reason except for going back to the slow growth etc in the beginning.
Well I'm thinking if she survives after her plastron becoming clear I wonder if it will solidify and become unclear after a while also I think I might research into some tcvm for her as well

you're right I do she's been out in the sun outside several times a week which I figured was okay for now till I get a good light I've ordered the T5 reptisun high output which I should be getting in this week and even though I thought the tote I got is too small I might go ahead and punch holes in the lid for her lights to get it set up until I can get her a bigger one the tote was only $10 at Walmart and as you can see from the picture it looks big enough for her at the moment she's only like 2in by 3in

Have you ever heard of a clear plastron reversing or getting back to normal?

I think your problem is the bulb then. You can't skimp on price. Get a good bulb. Now-a-days I'm recommending the T-5 long tube fluorescent UVB bulb.

You can buy the fixture for this bulb at lightyourreptiles.com

Until you can get the bulb set up, your baby needs the real sun ASAP. It's pretty dangerous to allow the shell to get that thin. Real sunshine a couple hours a week. Take him outside and just sit there in the sun with him for about 15 minutes every day.

In order for the calcium the baby eats to work (to make the shell and bones hard and healthy) you also need UVB either from the sun or from a GOOD UVB light.

(And yes, the cricket calcium is the same you'd use for the tortoise)
I got my new big encloser up to 81° and 83% humidity (at 1 end) with a water dish...the hot end is 90° and 56% humidity just with one incandescent light...tomorrow the t5 ho gets here...also wondered if I should keep her moist Mossy cave at the hot end next to the Basking Rock and the cool dry hide at the cool end where I was planning on putting some sphagnum Moss is that correct ?...and the water dish in the center....I don'thave the mossy hide or sphagnum moss in there yet...just running the light for a couple days to burn it off before my T5 gets here....the distance is about 22"+ so I'm wondering if I should add another 2" of coconut fiber to get the light closer?=full]287757[/ATTACH]20200311_062449.jpg20200311_062708.jpg20200311_062449.jpg
