Hi I have been thinking about making a new water bowl for my Hermann tortoise. I might make it out of clay because I can make it what ever depth I want, and it looks more natural when painted. Is there at type of clay that is strong and does not need to be baked in a kiln. Have any of you made a natural looking water bowl out of something different to clay?
