Pic. not very clear, but seems to look okay to me.
But you really need to have a good look at the eyes, touch the tortoise legs to see how it reacts, check the shell hardness, feel the weight etc.
It's difficult to tell even from the best photos.
It says leopard on this ad.

I would try to find out more about its history, where they got it how they have kept it etc. And yes it does say leopard in the ad.

oh, then they changed it. I did tell him in text that it wasn't a Russian.

That's an ok price for a leopard tortoise of that size. You might be taking a chance by buying a baby that has been kept dry.

I agree with Yvonne, and it also looks to be on sand or some sort and could cause the little one big problems.

When I spoke to the poster, I asked for more pics so I could see how he looks. I was sent a few other pics and the eyes were never open. That bothers me. I won't pay money unless I see a bright eyed healthy tortoise.

Absolutely right, bright alert eyes are essential.
