Hi, folks.
I went off to Spain for a few days, then returned and have actually done this.
(the cold water and fan, not the chest freezer).
I think Tidgy was a little alarmed at the breeze blowing at first, but after a couple of days seems to have become accustomed to it and does indeed seem much happier.
