Champ in 2014

Since @mike taylor requested some photos of my tortoise in another thread, here they are!
I adopted Champ (or 'el Campeon') and one of his clutch-mates about 6.5 years ago - just a month or two after I started TortoiseForum. Unfortunately his clutch-mate never made it past his first year :'(
However, Champ has thrived under my care thanks to all I've learned from TFO. I have many tortoises in my life beyond Champ - as I'm the go-to guy for anything turtle- or tortoise-related through many degrees of separation.
Anyway - here he is!

Until I get into a house or at least a place with a fenced-in yard, anything more would be irresponsible! I've fostered others and still do when there is one in need. Trust me, I wish I could have two of each species! Having just one doesn't mean I'm not obsessed like the rest of you though!
