A Leopard whose new growth has only come in black so far, is my guess.

Do you know what species this is and you are quizzing us or are you actually trying to ID this guy, too?

Previous owner were told he was a hybrid. Leopard/redfoot. Born without an eye. I have no clue what it really is.

Yup, my first guess was a hybrid leopard/redfoot. Beautiful, nonetheless.

It's possible. I've seen pictures of other leopard/redfoot hybrids. I think I remember that as they reach adulthood, they look more redfoot than leopard. But then again, I think it depends on which specie the mother was.

Hmm.. never mind. I tried to look up the thread about leopard x redfoot hybrids and their appearance is a good mix of both species.

I purchased two redfoot females today. The owners asked if i was interested in him. They got him at a snake show in north alabama. Other than the missing eye it seems healthy.

I believe I have heard of a Redfoot/Leopard cross. Here on this forum. I'll do some searching tonight (when kids aren't hanging on my legs) and see if I can find the threads...

I saw a few earlier when I finally got on my PC, I was just honestly fascinated b/c I didn't know it was even possible. Not to mention I don't have experience with redfoot or leopard hatchlings. Either way I'm just going to do the hot and humid thing and see how it turns out!
