This is growing all over my yard and in my tortoise enclosure. I pull it out as it grows but just comes back. The three leaves are attached to a thin stalk and they grow close together. If someone could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I have looked through thetortoisetable but couldn't find it. It is probably there I'm sure. Thanks in advance. Could it be cinquefoil?
Maybe Yvonne. Mine only have three leaves and the cinquefoil look like they have 5 leaves. But the leaves do look very similar. Maybe they get the other two leaves as the plant grows? I will watch the ones outside the enclosure and see. In the mean time I will still pull up the ones in the enclosure.

Either wild strawberry or Indian mock strawberry. The only way to know is the color of the flower: white = wild, yellow = mock. I believe both are on the safe to feed list. The mock strawberry fruits are pretty bland tasting, though.

Yes, maybe some kind of wild strawberry, but not a mock strawberry.
