Can a tortoise get fat????

Yes they can. From what I have gathered over the last two years on here and the little bit it has been talked about, it usually wouldn't happen with a tort that has a good varied diet, excersise and basically good husbandry.

Those that are kept in the small aquariums or boxes that don't give them room to hardly move and the poor diet they are usually given would be the likely candidates.
