Hey, another question, should I be using calcium with or without D3? I’ve heard both opinions. What do you think? Thanks

Either is fine as long as you dont overdue it. A lil bit a couple days a week will be fine with a varied healthy diet. Also keep a cuttlebone avail at all times.
Added D3 shouldn’t be necessary. Your tortoise makes its own on exposure to UVB light
There is a school of thought that the grassland tortoises have evolved not to process dietary vitamin D. They have a plant based diet.
The tropical forest species (redfoots and yellow foots) which get little exposure to the sun eat animal protein an evolutionary adaptation to compensate.
A tiny pinch of calcium powder sprinkled sparsely on food 2-3 days a week is all that’s necessary. You can overdo i.
