I've decided to take the daunting task of constructing a coffee table styled tortoise enclosure for Tuck during the four months where he can't live outside! It's a great idea considering the space it would save, and When Tuck outgrows it it could still be useful.

So.. Has anyone else tried this? I plan on 5'L x 3'W x 25"H for dimensions. size about right? I'd like some advice. My father and I could use some tips on the best wood type, glass type, etc. I've mapped out in my brain an ideal image of a table that has glass sides as well as a glass top with thick wood siding as the skeleton. Should the bottom be glassed too?

I'm also wondering if The tortoise would mind the environment. He's lived in glass before with no problem, but never with someone having coffee on his roof, lol.

Thanks!
