Ha ha! Hello everyone! Before I introduce myself, i'd like to tell you a quick story. "Once upon a time a member by the name of 'tortoise7' was trying to register to a highly recommended tortoise forum website, found by typing in 'www.tortoiseforum.org". When it came time for email verification, he could find the email! He then realized he typed in an incorrect email (I accidently typed ' _ ' instead of a period...). Now he feels sorry for re sending a verification email to that incorrect email address, 12 times! I changed it to the correct email, and Tortoise7 lived happily ever after"....LOL 
Anyways, my name (as far as you know ) is tortoise7, and I've never owned a tortoise before. I am looking for the correct species, as this is a life-long commitment. I joined this forum to learn, to make friends, and educate others on different types of herps. I'm excited to get started!
