My EBT female started with one eye kept closed so I started soaking her under a heat lamp not too close... and it’s still got white gunk in it. She doesn’t have much of an appetite but is still very active. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

She probably scratched it or had something in it. I think it's a good idea for everyone who keeps turtles and tortoises to have eye ointment in their first aid kit:
either one will do, but the terramycin has to be prescribed by a vet. If your pet store doesn't have the vetericyn, you can buy it online. It will soothe that eye and help it heal.
