Are blue bonnets a safe tortoise food? I ask because I live in south Texas and spring here means bluebonnets...EVERYWHERE. My next door neighbor's yard will have them, 3 ft tall, full and gorgeous. She gave us a big box of seeds so we could plant some. If my torts can't eat them, I'll plant them in my front yard where they couldn't gain access to them.
