Hello everyone, I just a few questions about this (sub)species of turtles.

1. Would a beginner be able to take care of them probably (With experience with aquariums)

2. Is it possible to mix subspecies?

3. Can anyone link me to a caresheet?

4. Is it possible too feed turtles (in general) in their basking area?

1. Would a beginner be able to take care of them probably (With experience with aquariums) Yes, they are a manageable size, but they do require clean water and ample swimming space. Alkaline water has been utilized with success by top keepers.

2. Is it possible to mix subspecies? Yes. Do you mean Northern and Southern Black Knobs? Those are the only subspecies. Or did you mean other Map (Graptemys) SPECIES?

3. Can anyone link me to a care sheet? We should have one on theTurtleRoom.com. Many of the Graptemys species, especially the "narrow-headed" group will require similar care.

4. Is it possible too feed turtles (in general) in their basking area? Nope, not Graptemys.
