Wow almost hard to tell it is a red foot, Is this a normal color variation, or is it something unique to that female? and any plans on selling it?

This must be the coolest redfoot i've ever seen. Love the color - hope it stays that way. You should give him a cool name, that fits with his black feet. :D

These are the little guys I called "BlackCherry".. that had the enormous yolk-sacs and had such a time keeping them alive while they absorbed them. http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-JUST-WHEN-I-THOT-IT-WAS-OVER#axzz1Rm7mWl00 http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread-Remember-Lil-Black-Cherry#axzz1Rm7mWl00 http://www.tortoiseforum.org/Thread...Brazilian-carbonaria-hatchlings#axzz1Rm7mWl00

Shown here eating on a hibiscus bloom -

They had 3-4 other siblings [ from the same male/female ] with little or no 'red' color.. none of which I kept - so I'll most likely keep these!

If you don't know the answer to this question that is fine, but is it the male female combo that is producing those colors? Next year if you get more like it, I would like one of the darker ones.

Oh how exciting. I much prefer melanistic variants than the poor red eyed critters (shame). I had a wild melanistic burmese python visit me in the garden, it was an incredible shiny black with just a shadow of markings. This is apparently rather common in thick deep forests across Asia. My king cobra are also rather dark as adults but as babies they are striking like baby monitor lizards..Varanus salvator.
