I'm confused about bindweed. I always thought it was safe as it says so on the Tortoise Table website and have been feeding flowers and leaves now and again over the past year, but I have just read now on this forum that it can be toxic?? What it the correct answer?

I feed bindweed to Joe and have done so for many years. Like with buttercups, he would be dead now if it harmed him. He finds his own of both and has done so for decades.
That said, the bindweed that I feed is the white flowered UK/Europe wild variety. Other varieties native to other countries may not be so palatable, so I cannot speak for those.
