Big Egyptian tortoise

Hiya,I just saw an ad for a female Egyptian tortoise,and it says she is 8 inches long.Isn't that a bit big for an Eyptian

I thought they looked like Greeks, but then I told my self: "Read the ad, the text is there for a reason"...
Hehe. Now they may be greaca from Egypt or surrounding area. They sure do have a Libyan Greek look to them. @HermanniChris could I'd the subspecies much better than I could even guess.

I wonder if he knows what they are or were they sold to him as a Hermann and Egyptian
I'd love to see the specimen Specific Certificate he claims to have lol

Ok, so yeah there's NO Egyptian tortoise anywhere in those photos for sure. Those are both 100% males, one being an eastern Hermann's tortoise (T. h. boettgeri) and the other an ibera Greek tortoise (T. g. ibera). No questions about either. Awesome animals!
