Had asked awhile back about Petrie's shell being pliable an was told this is normal. Now that I have Dizzy I am so worried of him failing I feel his shell everyday. His plastron is softer than Petries was. It isn't squish but more pliable. Is this because he is only 5 weeks old?

Thank you for helping a worried Mama

OMG 5 weeks, stop worrying, Feeling it everyday won't help your sanity. For now provide sunshine and calcium and keep hydrated.

Good advice above... relax :)

I would also advise that you restrict weighing to a fortnightly at most. Otherwise you get paranoid about the minutest drop in weight which turns out to be because your tort's just pooped :D
