Hi all...I have a 3 year old Sulcata that I got in May. I did not plan well for this winter and now she is in her hide and our temps are cool and I fear she may not come out for several weeks or more. I am just realizing through reading on this site the importance of a heated box for sulcatas in winter. So, I will definitely be building that for next year.
In order to get through this winter and keep her relatively comfortable in her burrow, can I get by with putting a ceramic heat emitter in her hide with a thermostatic probe? I am just not going to be able to build her box at this time.
I am in Phoenix.
Thanks for any advice...
