For those who saw my first attempt with Tilleys new enclosure (big kiddy pool) that idea didnt work out so well. Mostly because it was thought through and he wasnt getting his needed heat. So here is try #2, a smaller kiddy pool bout 1/3 the size of the first one (6ft x 6ft)

Heat rises. The best way to keep it in, is to cover part of the enclosure. Also, if that is a UVB bulb and it is sitting on fine screen or mesh, most of the UVB is being blocked. Larger opening in the screen like chicken wire let's the UVB through.[/quote]

Also, there should be a water dish in there. One large enough to soak in if he wants. Also, maybe some plants for cover or even eating.

Its a 125w heat bulb sitting on the of...well...those aquarium covers (black metal). There is a food and water dish inside, it was just on the opposing wall of the camera. I ended up mixing the new top soil with the mulch I was already using. Toys? Good ideas, thanks!

Looks good, you can cover half to 3/4 of the top to keep in heat and or humidity :)
