automatic 3 views?

Hey, I've noticed that every time I post a new thread I have about 3 views instantly. I hit the "post" button and then immediately hit "view new posts" and my thread is on the top, but it always has about 3 views.

I'm assuming these aren't real since it's pretty unlikely that every time I start a new thread I have 2 or 3 people reading it the second I post it, and before the view new posts page loads. Anyone know what's going on?

So funny, I just checked this and my last post in the RF section and both are currently sitting at 3 views each I guess those are automatic views to make me feel like someone is listening to me

Mine usually has like 5 I am pretty sure it is the google and bing and so on guests, but josh should be able to answer this better. That is my theory at least.

Hmm. It doesn't appear to be happening that way on my side.
I ran a recount and rebuild on the database which should double check all values. Let me know if you continue to notice this.
Google probably isn't indexing our pages that quickly.

Hi all I also notice it just like Peanutbutter as soon as you post 3 view's I thought it was wierd but did not pay much attention to it

i just noticed this tonight as soon as i posted a thread it had 5 views
in reposted ads
