#2 and 6 are filaree. Good stuff. You should start seeing little purple flowers soon and big spike looking thins growing up. This is the one with the little corkscrew seeds.

Don't know the others, but I let mine eat #5 too.

Is number 1 some king of "elephant ear"? If so, its on the toxic lists.

Thanks Tom

Once the filaree flowers bloom, can he eat those too or just the leaves?

I was thinking that 2 and 6 look like carrot tops. And 1 looks like some sort of squash.

I have #6 growing in Pio's pen...I thought it was a carrot, but didn't know how it got in there.

This is what filaree looks like around me in Southern California. Erodium circutarium. I have noticed that plants sometimes look different around different parts of the country. We planted some decorative plants last year and the new growth from this year looks distinctly different. Longer stems and more robust leaves. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

Anyhow, I'm no expert, but #2 and 6 look just like the filaree I have around here.

#1 is Burdock, #5 is Sow Thistle, #2 & 6 here where I live in the North East is called wild carrot, #3 {i]may[/i] be a type of Yarrow. I'm not sure about #4 although all of them are very common where I live. My tortoises probably get some of all of them since they are so common but the only ones that I purposely feed them is #3 & #5.
When in doubt about a plant check with your local Cooperative Extension office.
