I am going to home depot today to buy some wood and have them cut it to the size I need it to be. Years ago we used some type of (wood?)
That had a white covering.. It worked really well.
I can't remember though if we sealed it where the wood joins at the bottom and sides. Would aquarium silicone work, or reg silicone, or not necessary
? I don't think I have to put a coating on all the table because whatever the white covered wood we used was perfect for that

Regular silicone caulk would work fine, and cheaper. I think you're looking for melamine.
