Nope everything I have tried in their outdoor enclosure gets eaten up overnight. Good luck.

Whatever u end up getting make sure u grow a big population of it that way there's too much for ur turts to eat .like separate some in a bucket that way you've always got some ,I wanted to get some water hyasens but can't find any yet =\

I don't think water hyacinth are illegal in texas, there may just not be a lot because there is not much need for them. supply and demand

I use water hyacinths. Easy to find on and order through eBay, IME.
