Do they like to eat those spider plants?

Nope. I've never seen bites out the spider plants so it's a good cover/hide plant for them.

I had spider plants, abutilon and tiny ponytail palms from my other enclosures. I planted Tortoise Supply broadleaf weed seeds for the rest of the plants.

What plants do you use? My Tom's enclosure is pretty plain. And I want to liven it up! But, he's quite a pig and seems to eat anything I offer him, so I don't want him to eat everything I plant! Love the bamboo too.

They've consumed all of the clover in the Tortoise Supply broadleaf weed seed mix.

The plants that are safest from demolition are in nursery pots. I cut the bottom off of the pots so they are sitting on the substrate (for more root growth room). The torts can reach the overhanging leaves but can't reach the main stem and roots of the plants. Other forum members have found creative ways to protect their plants as well.

Also, always have seedlings and plants ready to rotate in.

My torts love evening primrose and hibiscus flowers and clover the best.
