There was another thread on here titled "pixie pigs" I think with links and pictures. They do look neat.

We have 2 micro pigs where I work the breed is kune kune and they don't stay micro for very long! Ours enjoyed a mud bath today in the sunshine. They r very sociable animals and run over to people at their fence and love being scratched like a dog would. We haven't taught them any tricks though

We had adopted one a few years ago,,trained her like a dog, lived in the house and was cleaner than our dogs! They are fantastic animals,,but don't be fooled by "micro" cause they do get fairly big. Ours got to about 145 pounds maybe more. size of a big lab,but super heavy!! If you have space, they are easy to train, and can be a great addition to a family. We found a home for our girl 'Black Betty'...cause with 2 dogs 2 children and 4 cats in the house,we couldn't give her enough space. Miss her though...

if you dont feed them, they dont grow... people always overfeed and they get bigger.. and fat!
the teacups have issues... tiny weak legs.. dont live as long...
the thread before was Teacup pigs.

Laura we just got him,so could you suggest what we should feed him? My son just got a horse farm in New Jersey, and he bought him at the farm auction.

Mazuri pellets are the best I've found. Agriculural pig feed (such as found in feedstores) is designed to put saleable weight on fast for slaughter. Also if kept with other livestock, keep the feed for others out of reach of pigs (mine were famous for raiding goat and horse feed).

Noooo....we are "city people" and this is our first time on a farm. We won't be slaughtering anything. Just getting some pets, and boarding horses. I'll have to post some pictures. It's very exciting for us, but we won't be raising any food, except veggies.
