I was just wondering what threats to my Sulcata I need to watch for? Other than thieves. She is outside all day and only on nights that I don't work. In short I am always home when she is out. The only wild animals that can get near to her, at night, are possums. The yard is encircled by a wood privacy fence, Black Bamboo, and Banana trees. Also the area is watched by a very vigilant and LOUD Bare Eyed Cockatoo that even gets nervous at high flying hawks. My Sulcata is about 8 inches.

In your case I'd be worried about cold and raccoons

Whats the size is your sulcata? can it get through the fence and run away? if its small you have to worry about owls and hawks as well. more details please.

Beware of raccoons!!! You may not see them, but if they get to your tortoise, it is very possible they can chew their legs, head ... etc. I recommend you lock him up safely every night. Good luck!

Not sure your location but usually after 4 inches you don't have to worry about birds and since yours is 8, you should be good with that.
