a water dish under the light will help, do you cover part of the enclosure with something like wood or plastic?

What substrate are you using? I know for my lil Sulcata torts, I use the EcoEarth/Bed-a-beast/ peat moss mixture, which helps keep in humidity. The water dish from dmmj is great. Also, spray their den (the plastic container you have near the heat side. That too will help with humidity/moisture.

I agree with the other suggestions, cover the enclosure with a lid for a rubbermaid container, doesn't need to fit perfectly just needs to cover the tank. They can be found at any walmart or dollar general for cheap if you don't have one at home. The EcoEarth substrate is definately a good one, it will help with humidity as well. :)

Adding some plants will help - I found tiny aloe vera plants (2" pots) at a feed store to put in with my sullies. Plus they can eat them if they are so inclined.

And pour more water over the substrate. You should be able to see WET substrate through the side of the aquarium down about halfway.

These are all great ideas. Under the cypress mulch I have coco coir. So I'm assuming that's holding in the moisture as well. Ther analog thermostat w/ Humidity gauge probably isn't as accurate. I'll be purchasing a digital read hopefully soon. The 100 watter power sun is almost 12 inches close the the brick/basking spot so the stuff near that dries out quickley. I'm only able to spray his tank twice a day cause of my schedule.

I'll see if I can find a plastic cover of some sort. I guess my black used t-shirt isn't helping much =P

a t shirt is permeable while wood or plastic will hold the water vapor in
