Another Example of What Scammers Look Like

Just wondering if anyone here breeds or has any ideas where I could find a captive breed and healthy Russian tortoise? I'm not set up for a hatchling, and finding a healthy non wild-caught one locally has been troubling. I care very much for the tortoise's safety and well being, so if anyone knows of any reputable breeders that would help. Still looking through the vendor reviews and was shocked at some of the sad stories from companies who don't really care for the animals....

By-Tort&Snowdog posted a thread in the 'Wanted' section here on the Forum. Peter wilson responded to the post. This person's profile said he's in Washington. He's in Cameroon, a place notorious for trying to scam people out of their money.

The moderators try to stay on top of these kinds of things, but they sometimes slip by, and recently have been quite active on the Forum. If you're in doubt, please contact a moderator before you send any money, especially to a member who shows only one or two posts here.
