Since I've been super busy studying about the skeletal system and the muscular system of cats, dogs, cows and such, I thought it would be fun to see how everything looked in tortoises. Easier said than done.

While looking for good material I came upon this gem, which was created in the 19th century by Ludwig Heinrich Bojanus.

Brush up on your latin skills, because here is the link to scanned versions of the two books full of anatomical observations and GORGEOUS illustrations.
