we get our little Koopa on sat. (RT) and a picture of him will be coming our way tomorrow. so excited! im wondering if im missing anything so let me know!
(our enclosure is 2.5foot x 7.7foot)
cuttle bone
calcium supplement
light fixture
flood bulb
2 terra cotta planter dishes (1 XL 1 med.) (food and water)
1 large terra cotta planter (hide house)
wooden hide house
orchid bark (pathway bark)
(no need for UV light or heat light he will be taken outside into a safe gated off and washed area daily until his outdoor enclosure is built next month we live in a tropical area)
anything NEEDED im missing here? i will be hunting down some nice rocks today with my daughter and boil them before putting inside the enclosure.
I am wondering aswell where to find pill bugs? where do you look for them? id like to have them inside the enclosure to help keep it clean as i plan to add a lot of orchid bark (enough that koopa can really dig down into it)
p.s. ohh and does the cuttle bone have to be made for tortoises or are the bird/rodent ones fine to use??
