Can you feed a tortoise (mine is a sulcata) the aloe plant? I know people sometimes will eat it. Would it be similar to feeding him the flat cactus (can't think of the name)?

Yes it can be feed. Some sulcatas like them some don't. My sulcatas don't like aloe but my desert tort will eat it.

Thanks. My aunt has an aloe plant so I was curious as to whether or not I could feed some to my sulcata.

Make sure she hasn't used any chemicals on it. Then when you feed it start with a small amount.

I'm in Florida so this stuff grows really well here. I'm getting some of the plant from my aunt, and recently picked up some prickly pear cactus from a friend of mine to transplant!!
