I tell ya, Stagger is growing SOOOO FAST!!
At 6 months old, he STILL wasn't bigger than 2-2 1/2".
And that's when I upped his food intake.
I've since cut back because he hit a HUGE growth spurt really fast, but he won't stop growing!!!
I have to measure him, but I bet he's AT LEAST 4- 4 1/2".
And he's now 15 months old.
Which it's good that he's growing, but I thought tortoise grew slower than this! hahahaha.
I think Terry sold me the "Advanced Version". hahahaha.
His shell is starting to come out of that "awkward stage" that it went through due to such a FAST growth spurt.
It still has some catching up to do with the actual scutes, but it's getting there.
The scutes are starting to catch up with the edges.
And he just LOVES the outdoors.
He just eats and eats and EATS whenever he's outside.
I sit out there with him for about 20 minutes or so at a time, then I bring him back in.
He's still too small for me to feel comfortable leaving him by himself in an outdoor enclosure just yet. So, I'm thinking next year we'll do an outdoor enclosure.
He has SUCH a personality.
And he'll still "PFFFFTTTT" at me if I bother him while he's sleeping or startle him (I never intentionally do these things, they happen on accident).
