Hi All!

I was home today and let Shelly out of her enclosure so she could roam around the yard. When I went to check on her I noticed she had some scratches on her plastron. There are some decorative border bricks that she must have climbed over.

Should I clean them with anything? I feel so bad and want to make sure I do whatever needs to be done to make sure she's ok.

Maybe I'm over-reacting, but I'm on the eve of taking my dog in to be put to sleep. So I've been a little over-emotional today. :(

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks!
Tammie

I'm so sorry about your dog. That's a tuff thing to have to do. I would just keep an eye on the scratches and keep them cleaned. I'm sure they scratch themselves a lot in the wild.

Methinks she will be okay as well. Only because what Wellington said makes a lot of sense.

I'm sorry about your having to make a huge decision tonight. My best wishes for you - just remember how unselfish your decision is. Your love for your pup is enough to carry him or her through this.
