Anyone know what this weed is? I've been having trouble positively identifying it.

Also does anyone know if Crown Daisy (Chrysanthemum Coronarium) is safe?

As you can see I have a fair amount of it.

I think that weed is called horse. My tortoises don't eat it. Likewise with the daisy. It smells pungent and they don't even sample it.

RE: A couple of ID questions

I am giving your thread a bump....I have lots of whatever the first weed is and the flowers look familiar but don't know the name...:D

horseweed, butterweed or fleabane are common names: conyza genus

Chris, we've got thousands of those daisies in the canyon in front of our place too, I'm starting to think it's a San Diego thing? I've never seen so many before- but from what I've read, daisies are toxic, or at least non-edible, though I'd have to have somebody verify that.
