Hey guys, I was giving my 6 year old Russian tortoise a soak when I realised he had what looked like a 5th claw on one of his hind legs. I know this is definitely not normal. He is supposed to have 4 claws in his hind leg. So, what should I do? Should I take him to the vet? Is it even a 5th claw?IMG_2141.jpegIMG_2142.jpeg

Your pictures are to blurry to tell anything.
Whatever it is, if it looks healthy, not infected, and it's not bothering him, I wouldn't take him to a vet.

I’m sorry for the bad pictures. He was moving his leg a lot. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him and he is acting just fine. I will send a better picture tomorrow when he comes out of his hide.
