YOUR TORTOISE NICKNAMES?

Im curious! I want to know what your tortoises's nick names are!

My tortoises nickname is, "baby turtle"

My little ones don’t have nick names but I often call Toretto “pretty lady” when I’m speaking to her

That one over there, The Bigger One, The Smaller One, The Flat One, Mary's Tortoise, My First Tortoise, The Rapist. . . to name just a few.

Very unimaginative, but it's how we refer to Joe most of the time.

He got called other things if he'd just rammed me in the ankle, but I'd get banned from the forum if I posted those [emoji23]

Nick names are actually pretty smart since its nearly impossible to identify the sex of a tortoise for a long time.
I have two just now.
ThecAdult is Julio.
The baby is Wild Child. Though my wife calls it Baby.
He hatched outside and lived out there for months before I ever first saw him/her.
I often go weeks without seeing him. I have no idea what he does out there. But I think Wild Child works. Because he's like a little Tarzan.
(A member suggested the name Tarzan)

I call mine Darwin or "The Wee Baby Darwin" ... I know he's years from being able to accurately sex him, but I call, and think of, him as a him.

Having owned a singularly sex obsessed male myself, I can perfectly understand this name. Joe, if human, would have been subject to #metoo allegations

Mine is named Murphy but I call him "Murf Murf"

He only has one, and only use it when he poops or pees on me.....you little sh**. Lol.

Our tortoise name is Link but my little girls call him Linky...

It's a smallish leopard who will 'make love' to anything and everything in his yard.

My new Indian Star is called "kleintje scutes". Kleintje = little one. Cause I kept calling him "kleintje" and he has different scutes. My son always nicknames my animals. Or gives them lastnames. And some of my animals names are because of him. He always finds suitable names. He can be very silly. *glimlach*

My husband named ours Tooter after the old cartoon Tooter the Turtle but I call him Toot Toot, Tooter Scooter or Toots for short

My DT's name is Chug, but when I call him to come out of his burrow I say Chug-a-Lug, Chug, Chug, Chug, Chug-a-Lug!

I just call my two Elijah and Goliath a Herman's and a sulcata. But we do have a room in the house called the tortoise room [emoji2]
