Hi,

My husband and I are very interested into having a Leopard Tortoise. We have done our research, and do not have the space to take on a Sulcata tort at this time, or any of those giant breeds. We are willing to drive a fair distance, but more importantly want to have input once we get the little guy/gal on how to properly care for him/her. We know basics, but are by no means experienced. We are willing to learn. We have had aquariums, and reptiles, just never a tortoise. Please message me if you can point me in the right direction or have a little guy available!

Hello, and Welcome. It's not likely you will find a leopard to adopt. I'm sure not impossible, but you would be better off if you don't want to wait too long and buy one. Sometimes you might find some on Craig's List that needs rehoming, but they usually come with a fee. Good luck

Hi Tara, great to have you! Welcome from Round Rock TX. I'll be trying to get a group of Austin area local tort keepers for local support and networking. I have 2 REDFOOT babies. We'll see you around I hope
