I've had these two Elongated/Travencore hybrids a while now, about a year and a half but have never gotten around to posting them. A bit of the typical split scutes but doing extremely well.

Definitely more aquatic than terristrial, especially as babies. I would completely scrap this setup and set it up as a shallow water enclosure with numerous places for it to climb out of the water on.

Got this guy from Tortstork two years ago, he was hatched the day after Xmas in 2021. Doing awesome.

Ultimately the difference between a turtle and tortoise comes down to fairly superficial morphology differences. Tortoises have columnar hind limbs while no turtle does. Some also point to heavy domed carapaces but not all Tortoises are domed and not all turtles are flat.

They have been seperated for a while already. The real aggressor is the female and not the male. She is very very good aggressive and will not allow him to eat if kept together. She is much larger and will shove him out of the way and then just sit on the food to prevent him from eating.
