RNS question - running out of ideas

The threadstarter is from the Phillippines. It is hot and definately not just sun rays. The problem I think is the management of humidity as it is VERY humid in the Phillippines.

RNS question - running out of ideas

If the sick ones r kept indoors u can use a electric dehumidifier to reduce the humidity if not one of those disposable ones work too but be prepared to change it very frequently. Best way I think to stop RNS is to neubulize yr tort with saline n Baytril. Baytril is an antibiotic but pretty...

    Amber with the runny nose

This is Amber He/She have been having runny nose for about a year. Saline drops, nebulization, anti-biotic jabs all don't work. I think she is just sensitive as the other 2 (Sheldon & Jasper) (which I keep separate from her) don't have it. Anyway, I stopped getting concerned as she is...

The vet said that the pitting in the shell is due to malnutrition at some point in their life Also the bigger one have shell rot at the bottom of the shell. Luckily it was nothing major.

Thank you all for your kind words. However, I'm not in USA so I can't rehome them to one of you guys nor can I suggest a hedgehog breeder. HarleyK> Yes I'm a member of MFK. In fact if you're into bichirs, I just got myself a Kamihata bred Polypterus bichir bichir :)

Going to Adopt these 2 torts but....

they are rather poorly kept by the current owner. He wants to give them up and I figured the best I can do is give them a good home (I already hv 3 at home). I have only seen the pics of the torts and not seen the actual torts yet. According to the current owner, both torts are healthy and...

    Hoglets!

Hedgehogs are not rodents like what most people think They belong to the order of Erinaceidae. Hedgehogs have canine teeth like dogs/cat and not incisors like rodents. Which is why you don't have to worry about them trying to chew through their cage or wires.[hr] Well, they’re...

    Hoglets!

They are really easy to keep I use kitty litter though there are other beddings you can use as well. They are kinda like hamsters except that they don't chew everything like hamsters do Exercise is on a large Guinea Pig wheel Food is basically cat food and stuff like carrots

    Hoglets!

Well I think they are really easy to keep and relatively odourless if you are hardworking in clearing their poop. Only thing is that you require lots of patience so that they get used to you and not turn into a pin cushion everytime you walk near them.
