They LOVE blueberries- this was a temporary habitat fix and dinner the day we first rescued them from awful conditions- they were being housed with 2 very tiny redfoot babies, on pelleted substrate, no shade, no water, fed and fresh water only twice per week, a small amount of kale for the 4 animals twice per week in a 5 gallon tank, with a desert UV coil bulb over them and no way to get out of the light- no shade, no hides, no plants (plastic or otherwise) and the tank temperature was about 105F on the two consecutive days we went back. The 2nd day we just paid the high price and pulled all four of them out of that baking oven... We found homes for these 2 boxies right away, of course, but we still have the 2 baby redfoots, who are STILL having health problems one year later.
