Thank you. I am misting and soaking.there is a lot more bad results for a tort being kept dry like the tort being stunted or hatchling failure syndrome. torts should always have a source of water at all times, have humidity in there enclosure and have regular soaks.
And of course fresh water. Already changed water dish to a small one to prevent a flip and drown thanks to this forum.Thank you. I am misting and soaking.
Goodness what a difference! Only a question: if lack of humidity causes pyramiding then how did torts manage to live in deserts for so long, particularly in the past? Or did they have pyramiding that nobody knew about?1. a sulcata kept in dry conditions that has pyramiding.
