Hi,
I have a 10 year old red footed tortoise.
I dropped him off at a general vet boarding for 5 days. He was fine at the drop off.
The boarding facility called on 3rd day and said he didn't want to eat or walk.
They didn't know why.
When I picked him up he was in his shell. He has had multiple baths. I don't know
if he can't or won't come out of his shell.
Not like him.

We need some more info in order to even begin to help. How are you housing him?
Lights, heat, humidity, diet, substrate, etc.
How was the facility housing him? Same questions above.

He is housed in a large enclosure with heat lamps and uv. He was housed in a smaller aquarium but still large. With heat lamps. However they probably did not use the heat lamps at night. I mentioned this but they say tortoises can tolerate 65 degree weather. They claim they don't know what happened.

I wouldn't use them again. They have no clue what they are doing.
Tell them they need to join the forum and learn how to actually care for tortoises or they need to stop housing them.

I agree with @wellington if they were willing to leave your red foot without any heat during the night that’s a huge red flag

I don't know what could have happened. He may be constipated or have a stone blockage.
Put him in your tub and put enough water in that he feels he needs to swim/move a lot. Supervise him the whole time, keeping him and water warm. Do this at least an hour or more. Do this daily until he either is better or another issue is discovered.
