After lots of research and preparations I now have my first adopted Russian Tortoise.
This male was named "Waffles" and was surrendered to the CTTC by his previous owner.
So glad to have my first Russian and let me tell you, so far he is loving his new home.
He is housed outdoors in a 20' x 6' pen. (here is the link)

It's fully planted with grasses, weeds, succulents and more. I brought him home last night and gave him a soak. I had him sleep inside then put him into the pen this morning. He took off to exploring right away. Within 10 minutes he started eating!! I was happy to see he was so comfortable right away
His first soak
This morning he got a soak before going out. Here my leopard is also getting soaked before going into his separate pen.
In the weeds
Now he is locked up in his night box and will be let back out in the morning
Thanks for looking and I'm happy to be part of the Russian Club
