i agree it looks pretty normal to me there is no way to tell what it will look like at adult stage but i do know a lot of people who sell "high yellow/high blonde" animals for a little more then normal are just going off of current appearance which could change.

Yes my only hesitation is the price.. this is slightly higher in price den the normal one, that is why i afraid i might get a normal one rather den a 'high yellow' by paying that price..

Not really a high yellow as the black base is more than the yellow.

So is it worth a buy?
The price is x 2 compare to a normal one..

It's up to you, really. If you think it is a reasonable price for that individual, and you would be happy with your purchase, go for it. It is not what I would call anywhere near 'high yellow', but it certainly is a nice looking critter and the shell growth is off to a good start. Personally, if the seller is asking double the average price for a radiated of that size (which looks to be around 3 inches), I wouldn't pay for it. But if you like it and you think it is a good deal, grab it while it is available. It's your call!

Good luck!

This is a better then average animal for US standards. It will be a good addition to a collection, price should be $1750-2000 sexed or not. This would be determined by bloodline as to final price. I always tell people buy what you like because you'll have it for life!

That said we have some good stuff cooking, so if this turns out to not work for you keep in touch!

I am looking to get my first dream tortoise of radiata. I am very interested if you get something going. How do I get in touch with you?

I would be willing to pay double than normal going rate for a radiata for this one. are you in the states? this one might triple it.

All of you do realize they will look nothing like this when very old? To each is own but the extreme pattern of any star, leopard, pancake, radiata or spider tortoise will all end up faded out when mature and aged. Yes this may be many many years and decades down the line. But is it worth it?
