Butternut squash?

Hi I'm cooking dinner and have fresh butternut squash and was wondering if Russian tortoises could eat some?

A small amount of grated raw squash mixed in with the rest of the days food is fine once in a while.

Ok I'll give a small amount to them this one time I only make it a few times a year when I do turkeys.

The few times you make it wouldn't be too much either. Just not a weekly thing. Every once in a while isn't bad.

Oh and if you grow your own, they like squash flowers as a special treat too.

they can also eat the leaves

I occasionally feed it to my Russian tortoises and Desert tortoises.

Only make it once a year on thanksgiving but made a pre thanksgiving dinner tonight so have them a few tiny tiny slices hope they enjoy it I love being able to try new food with them ☺️
