I have 2 CB Jordanian Greeks, Testudo graeca ssp, for sale. They are 1 1/4" and are going great. They are eating very well. The adults are small, staying 6" to 6 1/2" for females and 4" to 5" for males. They are $150 each or $250 for the 2 of them. Shipping is next day.
I give great after purchase care and support. :D

Yes they are still available Meg and I now have 4 :D It looks like 2 of them might be females and they are 1 3/4" and 2".
I won't be shipping again till April, but I'll be more than happy to hold one till than with a deposit.

How are your prices on them? Still $150 for one and $250 for two?
Are the two in the pic boys? I would love to see the girls too!

Jeeze--I'm sooo tempted!

Hey Danny--I thought I would be able to get a hold of a CB Greek at the wheaton show, but my hopes today have been dashed.

From what I was told (from several vendors, including the one recommended to me) is that is was a bad year for Greek Production. Whatever that means. And alot of people said that they had to talk to their "breeders" which put me off as well. (it makes me think of suppliers...i thought that these people WERE breeders. :()

So this is what I'm thinking...I would love one of your Jordanian Greek babies. I was just wondering if you have any more expected, or incubated eggs, or if these four are all you will have until April...

How big would the girls be at the time of shipping?

No bad year here for Greeks :D

I won't have any more Jordanians till next summer. They should start laying in April or May.

It's hard to say how big the girls will be come April.

How big of a deposit will hold one of them (i'd love both but its out of my budget!)

when were they hatched? same clutch?

I couldn't poke you for a few more individual pics huh? :)

Is the two inch one, the one on the right in the pics?

$50 will hold one of them for you :D

They are from 2 different clutches and the bigger one is younger (hatched from a bigger egg). I'll have to look up hatch dates.

The larger one is on the right. Which one did you want more pictures of?

ummm....I don't know yet. both? :shy:

I really appreciate all the trouble you're going through. Its hard to net shop, cuz you never get to see the little buggers in person.

How would I go about getting my deposit to you? (nonrefundable i suppose :p)

I just did a bit of research on them and saw some pictures. but every care sheet I read states that they have a serious problem with damp weather, and it rains here 7 months out of the year. It's not as humid as the south, but it is damp and cold...it doesn't sound like one would do very well here.

no...they like it dry. which is ok...our summers can be kind of humid, but I will run a dehumidifier if i need too...Nigel's humidity is ideal right now...its pretty darn dry in my apt. especially under his light

My adults have been extremely hardy Maggie. I don't think I've ever had a URI with them. They seem to be able to take any air humidity and temperatures down in the 50's. Not sure how they'd be with cold and damp though. I bring mine in at night if it's going to rain and be under 60F.
Here you go Maggie and Meg :D
Male top and Female bottom. This female is mom to the one on the left. Don't know who dad is but most likely this male.
