I just ran across this on YouTube. Its an episode of "Our World", a 52 minute documentary.
** Not recommended for those of us who don't do well seeing the rougher side of life as there is a piece on fixing a damaged shell, and another where a sea turtle attacks a shark, possibly some other parts that might bother some of us.

A turtle's shell has to be one of the most peculiar but successful pieces of design that nature has ever come up with. Unchanged for 200 million years it has allowed turtles to populate almost everywhere in the world. The turtle family includes turtles, tortoises and terrapins and they're a mixed bunch. Meet the bloodthirsty terrapins that hunt birds and the 160 year old tortoise that bites women's toenails! But the limitations of life in a shell are causing turtles problems in today's world. We meet the inspirational people that are trying to help them.
